Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes is hiring General Service Technicians for our Illinois service centers in the Orland Park area. Full-time role with paid training, weekly pay, and growth opportunities. New hire bonus $800 applies.

You'll perform essential tire services and light maintenance, including mounting/dismounting, balancing tires, oil changes, fluid checks, and safety-focused work with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable, punctual and eager to learn.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on automotive environment.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork and quality service.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires.
• Performing flat tire repairs.
• Completing oil and filter changes.
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids.
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Identifying tire and maintenance concerns.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Following established safety and service procedures.
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles.
