Mavis Tires & Brakes in Palatine, IL is seeking a General Service Technician to perform essential tire and vehicle maintenance, including mounting and balancing tires, oil changes, and routine inspections. You will learn hands-on skills alongside experienced automotive professionals in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn.
• Able to work in a fast-paced automotive environment.
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork and quality service.
• Previous automotive experience is a plus, but not required; paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Performing flat tire repairs.
• Completing oil and filter changes.
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids.
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Following established safety and service procedures.
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles.
