Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes is hiring General Service Technicians in Opelika, AL. Full-time role with on-site work, paid training, and a $800 new hire bonus as part of Pep Boys integration.

You’ll join a large nationwide automotive service organization and perform essential tire and vehicle maintenance services in a fast-paced shop environment. Applicants with or without prior automotive experience are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Willing to learn and follow safety procedures.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires.
• Performing flat tire repairs and basic maintenance.
• Completing oil and filter changes.
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids.
• Performing basic vehicle inspections and maintenance.
• Identifying tire and maintenance concerns.
• Maintaining a clean, safe work area.
• Following safety and service procedures.
• Supporting timely completion of customer vehicles.
