Pep Boys in Tuscaloosa, AL is hiring full-time General Service Technicians to perform essential tire and vehicle maintenance. You’ll work with experienced technicians, gain hands-on skills, and contribute to keeping customers safe on the road.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn in a fast-paced automotive environment.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork and quality service.
• Previous automotive experience is a plus but not required; paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Performing flat tire repairs.
• Oil and filter changes and checking/ topping off fluids.
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Following established safety and service procedures.
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles.
