Job summary

Pep Boys / Mavis Tire is hiring full-time General Service Technicians in the Portsmouth, NH area. You’ll perform tire services, maintenance, oil changes, and inspections, with paid training and room to grow within the nation’s largest automotive service organization.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced automotive environment.
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality service.
• Previous automotive experience is a plus, but not required. Paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Performing flat tire repairs.
• Completing oil and filter changes.
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids.
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Following established safety and service procedures.
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles.
