PEP BOYS / Mavis Tire is hiring General Service Technicians in the Edison, NJ area. This full-time role includes paid on-the-job training, competitive weekly pay, and weekly incentive compensation as part of a growing automotive service organization.

As a General Service Technician, you will perform essential maintenance and tire services, work with experienced technicians, and develop hands-on skills in a fast-paced shop environment. Opportunities for advancement exist within the team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Paid training provided

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
• Performing flat tire repairs
• Oil and filter changes
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids
• Basic vehicle maintenance and inspections
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Following established safety and service procedures
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles
