Job summary

Mavis Tire is hiring General Service Technicians for our Edison, NJ area service centers. This full-time role involves tire service, maintenance, and safety inspections performed alongside experienced automotive professionals.

Paid training is provided, with opportunities to advance within the nation’s largest automotive service organization. Applicants must be 18+, legally eligible to work in the United States, and commit to safety and quality service in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced automotive environment
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality service

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
• Performing flat tire repairs
• Completing oil and filter changes
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Following established safety and service procedures
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles
