Job summary

Joe Lunghamer Chevrolet Inc is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, maintain and repair customer vehicles in Michigan. A state license is required by law; ASE certifications are a bonus. No GM experience is required, though beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience as an auto technician.
• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems.
• Test drive vehicles and components using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional service needs.
• Provide estimates of time needed for repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
