Job summary

Gordie Boucher Nissan of Greenfield is hiring a full-time Service Technician for its busy, high-volume service department. ASE experience preferred.

You will diagnose mechanical problems, test parts and systems, and service vehicles according to manufacturer and dealership guidelines. You will also communicate with customers about issues and options, maintain knowledge through workshops, and adhere to OSHA safety standards.

Qualifications

• ASE experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Willingness to communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repairs.
• Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Drug testing required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing mechanical problems.
• Testing parts and systems to ensure proper function.
• Servicing vehicles in a timely manner per manufacturer and dealership guidelines.
• Communicating with customers about issues, repairs and options.
• Maintaining knowledge of skills by attending workshops, seminars, or classes.
