Job summary

Westbrook Honda in Connecticut is hiring full-time Service Technicians to join our team. We welcome all skill levels from Quick Lube to Master Technician and provide a path for career growth.

Technicians identify and repair vehicle malfunctions in a timely and accurate manner under the supervision of the Service Manager. Responsibilities include listening to customers, diagnosing engines, transmissions, brakes, and other systems, keeping records, and maintaining a safe work area.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend service and repair information quickly
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers
• Knowledge of all technical tools and equipment
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

• Listen to customer concerns and offer technical advice
• Diagnose the cause of malfunctions in engines, transmissions, brakes, exhaust systems, and other components of various types of vehicles
• Maintain current fundamental knowledge of vehicles and related issues
• Keep records and documentations of vehicle repairs
• Maintain a safe and organized work area
