Job summary

The Hertrich Family of Dealerships in Seaford, DE is seeking a General Auto Service Tech / Entry-Level Mechanic. This role offers paid training, a 5-day work week, and a clear path to advance within our family-owned automotive group that operates 24 dealerships and multiple brands.

You will perform basic services, MPIs, and assist with brake work while gaining hands-on experience toward technician certifications. A valid license and tools are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of automotive maintenance or repair experience
• Own a basic set of automotive repair tools
• Valid driver's license with clean record

Responsibilities

• Perform basic automotive services including oil changes and lube services
• Complete Multi-Point Inspections (MPIs)
• Assist with brake services (experience a plus, not required)
• Gain hands-on experience while working toward technician certifications
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
