Job summary

Toyota of Glendale seeks a Service Lot Attendant-Porter to move vehicles within the service area, keep vehicles and the lot clean, and transport customers as needed. A valid California driver’s license with a clean record is required, and strong communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Move vehicles to and from service areas and lot as needed.
• Install protective coverings and tags in vehicles brought in for service.
• Service vehicles with gas, oil, and water as needed.
• Wash and clean vehicles as required.
• Maintain lot appearance by cleaning driveways, sidewalks and debris.
• Keep shop clean including windows, doors and floors.
• Coordinate dealer trades as necessary.
• Transport customers to and from home upon request.
• Ensure documentation is complete and compliant with regulations.
• Follow all safety and security procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Overview

TheService Lot Attendant-Porterhelps ensure complete customer satisfaction by moving vehicles in and around the service area/lot, maintaining the cleanliness of vehicles and the service area, delivering vehicles to customers after service is complete, and transporting customers to/from their home when needed.The ideal candidate has a high energy level, a desire to work in a fast-paced environment, and a valid California driver's license with a clean driving record. He or she must have great communication and customer service skills, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude. Candidates must be able to drive both manual and automatic transmissions and safely maneuver vehicles in tight and small spaces. Previous experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drives vehicles to and from service areas and lot as needed.
• Installs protective coverings (seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, etc.) and tags in all vehicles brought in for service.
• Services vehicles with gas, oil, and water.
