We're looking for full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in Albemarle, NC area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

About the Position of Assistant Manager

As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Using fundamental leadership skills, Assistant Managers enforce established policies, schedule mechanics’ work, manage outside orders, ensure quality and timely completion of jobs, meet customer expectations, and ensure the safety of team members.

About the Position of Service Manager

The Service Manager is responsible for assisting customers with tire selections and recommending necessary under‑car repair services. They ensure complete customer satisfaction by delivering timely high‑quality vehicle repair and maintenance, directing the workflow of mechanics, alignment technicians, and tire technicians, and staging vehicle repair/maintenance work. Service Managers also drive sales initiatives, communicate directly with customers, assess customer needs, provide information about needed repairs, and strive to meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Possess at least 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, automotive repairs/maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
