Job summary

Plaza Tire Service, part of The Sun Auto Network, seeks a Service Advisor to promote products and services, greet customers professionally, and manage shop workflow as on-duty manager when needed. Strong sales, customer service, and automotive knowledge are required, with a focus on driving customer satisfaction and repeat business in a Midwest setting.

The role offers a compensation range of $50,000–$80,000 per year, combining hourly pay with commission, plus a suite of benefits and advancement

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior experience as a Service Advisor is required.
• Experience in sales, customer service or automotive field preferred.
• Professional appearance and ability to work in a process-driven environment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Able to work five days per week, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in person and by phone in a professional, courteous manner.
• Document customer concerns and reference service history to identify needs.
• Recommend services and clearly communicate additional recommendations.
• Promote sales of services, parts, and accessories with product knowledge.
• Provide accurate quotes with cost and time for approved services.
• Give updates throughout the day on service status.
• Cashing out tickets after review of inspections and warranties.
• Conduct post-repair follow-up calls to ensure satisfaction.
• Track new returns, core returns and warranty parts for customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
