Car City in Portage, MI is seeking an Administrative Sales Support professional to greet customers, back up the Sales Manager, and help maintain the lot and inventory. The role requires dependable, customer-focused individuals with strong communication and basic math skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in Sales or Customer Service, automotive experience not required.
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
• Full-time availability during store hours, some evenings Mondays/Wednesdays until 8pm and Saturdays.
• Able to lift 25c30 lbs.
• Excellent interpersonal communication (verbal/written/phone).
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to prepare customer paperwork using basic math and admin tasks.
• Maintain professionalism, integrity, ethics, and equality.
• Strong multitasking in a structured, detail-oriented way.
• Self-motivated, team player with problem-solving skills.
• Physical ability to sit for long periods and walk the lot.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and deliver customer service.
• Support Sales Manager with sales and delivery backup.
• Maintain lot and inventory appearance.
• Be the first contact for customer disputes and concerns.
• Prepare sales contracts and submit orders, including title transfers.
• Maintain customer records using manual and automated systems.
• Ensure compliance with vehicle sales and financing laws.
