Manhattan Jeep in New York, NY is seeking a driven Sales Representative to join our automotive sales team. You will assist customers in selecting vehicles, present features, and close sales with an emphasis on customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive, retail, commission, or customer-facing sales experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, customer-focused approach.
• Self-motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented.
• Strong organization and follow-up skills.
• Comfortable using computers, CRM systems, and other sales technology.
• Ability and willingness to learn dealership products, processes, and compliance requirements.
• Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets the dealership’s insurance and vehicle-use requirements.
• Availability to work Saturdays and other scheduled dealership hours.
• Employment may be contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and driving-record review conducted in accordance with applicable law.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting new and pre-owned vehicles that meet their needs, preferences, and budget.
• Build relationships with customers in person, by phone, and through internet leads.
• Respond promptly to leads and schedule appointments.
• Conduct professional vehicle presentations and test drives.
• Overcome objections and close sales.
• Follow up consistently with leads, appointments, prior customers, and unsold prospects.
• Maintain customer information and activity in the CRM.
• Complete sales paperwork accurately.
• Partner with sales management and the finance team to complete vehicle transactions.
• Deliver vehicles and explain features, warranties, and paperwork.
• Build repeat and referral business through excellent customer service.
• Follow dealership policies and applicable New York State and federal automotive sales laws.
