Job summary

Long-Lewis Auto Group in Tuscumbia, AL, is seeking a Reconditioning Center Maintenance & Tire Technician to help prep pre-owned vehicles for sale. You will perform routine maintenance, tire services, and inspections in a fast-paced environment, taking pride in accuracy and safety.

The role requires at least 1 year of automotive maintenance or tire experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift heavy objects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of verifiable automotive maintenance or tire service experience.
• Experience performing routine vehicle maintenance and tire services.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid services.
• Mount, balance, rotate, repair, and replace tires as needed.
• Inspect vehicles for maintenance and safety concerns.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance to prepare vehicles for retail sale.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Work with the reconditioning team to ensure vehicles are completed efficiently and on schedule.
• Follow dealership and manufacturer service procedures.
