Job summary

CarMax in Savannah, GA seeks a Reconditioning Associate I – Satellite to ensure every vehicle meets CarMax’s quality standards for interior and exterior cleaning, paint touch-ups, wet sanding, buffing, and final inspections on used, new, and customer vehicles.

Under supervision, you’ll assist with zone maintenance, delivery preparation, vehicle receiving, inventory scanning, and lot movement, delivering outstanding customer service while following EH&S rules and maintaining a clean, orderly work

Qualifications

• Reading, interpreting, and transcribing data accurately.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication with customers and associates.
• Commitment to CarMax standards and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and secure display areas and work-in-progress zones to ensure merchandising excellence
• Prepare vehicles for customer delivery and inter-store transfers
• Receive and secure vehicles shipped to CarMax and perform daily inventory and accurate record updates
• Complete final quality inspections to uphold CarMax standards
• Execute paint touch-ups, wet sanding, and buffing to meet CarMax quality standards
• Provide outstanding customer service to internal and external customers
• Follow CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
