Job summary

Kin Insurance, Inc. is seeking an Auto Pricing and Risk Manager to help design the next generation of auto coverage and expand Kin's footprint across states. This hands-on role shapes pricing, rules, and features that drive growth, with emphasis on market insight and risk analysis for new and existing markets.

You will work closely with actuarial, product, and compliance teams, and leverage AI/ML tools to enhance pricing accuracy and analytical workflows, in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of insurance product development experience; auto experience preferred
• Experience building pricing models for multi-state expansion
• Hands-on use of AI/ML in pricing, underwriting, or risk workflows

Responsibilities

• Design and develop insurance products, rules, coverages, and pricing enhancements
• Lead state expansion pricing models and optimize existing ones
• Own end-to-end rollout from pricing analysis through launch and post-launch
• Integrate AI/ML tools to improve pricing accuracy and workflows
• Collaborate with actuarial, product, and compliance teams
• Build dashboards and KPIs for launched products and pricing features
• Translate market research into concrete pricing and product recommendations
• Identify pricing innovation opportunities ahead of expansion
• Ensure regulatory readiness and market entry plans
