First Chicago Insurance Company is recruiting a Property Damage (PD) Subrogation Specialist to lead auto property damage subrogation from start to finish. You will negotiate with carriers, attorneys, and uninsured motorists to maximize recoveries while ensuring claims outcomes align with company objectives.

The role requires 2–3 years of auto subrogation experience and 8–10 years with non-standard auto carriers, plus knowledge of liability law and a licensed adjuster path.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of auto insurance subrogation experience.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of non-standard auto carrier experience.
• Knowledge of liability law.
• Good interpersonal, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to pass written examinations to become a licensed claims adjuster.
• Ability to work on an on-line computer-based claims system.

Responsibilities

• Review evidence supporting property damage subrogation activity.
• Negotiate settlements with carriers, attorneys, and uninsured motorists.
• Evaluate counter claims with Claims management.
• Review settlements for policy compliance and regulations.
• Achieve and maintain company goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
