Job summary

NAPA Auto Parts Specialist position at GPC invites you to be part of a team that supports fleet customers with parts and service needs. A background in automotive parts is preferred, and enthusiasm to learn is welcomed.

You will help teammates, answer questions, and ensure parts are sourced accurately in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include assisting customers, communicating availability, and working closely with management and technicians to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Experience or willingness to learn automotive parts and industry terminology.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to assist technicians and customers.
• Good communication skills and active listening in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in a team and support peers in a parts-focused role.
• Basic knowledge of cataloging, sourcing, and inventory concepts.
• ASE certifications are a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide and source parts for fleet customers and colleagues.
• Use parts knowledge to assist team members and answer customer questions.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and interact with management and technicians.
• Contribute to a fast-paced environment with high energy and customer focus.
• Ask appropriate questions to ensure correct parts are researched and sourced.
• Inform customers on parts availability and lead times.
