Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales/service objectives. The role requires store system familiarity, basic automotive knowledge, and the ability to source parts from multiple channels.

It can be part-time or full-time with potential for fleet safety certification. Responsibilities include assisting DIY customers in-store and by phone, helping the store hit its sales goals, and performing basic maintenance tasks such as battery

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Basic automotive knowledge and ability to source parts.
• Fleet safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock
• Store cleanliness and general stocking including truck stocking and back stock
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
