Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson in Portsmouth, OH. This role supports the DIY business with product knowledge, store systems, and basic automotive know-how. The position can be part-time or full-time and requires delivering excellent service to DIY customers.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, maintaining inventory standards, and performing basic DIY services while following safety and operational guidelines. Fleet safety certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus) and build relationships with customers and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in person and over the phone.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store meet its targets.
• Offer DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installations.
