Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales/service objectives.

You should have knowledge of store systems, basic automotive knowledge, and be capable of sourcing parts from stores, hubs, and external suppliers. The role requires familiarity with inventory processes and a willingness to perform both primary and secondary responsibilities, plus basic safety and service skills.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English; Spanish is a plus.
• Basic math and reading safety rules and manuals.
• Willing to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness and batch stocking; deliver parts to customers when needed
