Job summary

B.Y.O.T. Auto Parts is hiring for a full-time in-store position in Texas. You will assist customers, answer questions, manage sales with a friendly attitude, and follow company processes for cash handling and loss prevention.

The role requires reading and speaking English, willingness to work retail hours including weekends and holidays, and a commitment to safety and teamwork. Benefits include dental, health, and paid time off.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety culture within the store.

• Support housekeeping and site maintenance as needed.
• Identify when customer interaction needs management support.
• Complete sales training and follow the B.Y.O.T. Auto Parts Sales Model.

Description Summary

Promotes B.Y.O.T. Auto Parts' Company Culture as a team player to help the team achieve its productivity goals while maintaining a high level of integrity, appearance, professionalism, and attention to detail. As a team we strive to provide a 5 star experience to every customer.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Promote the B.Y.O.T. Auto Parts Safety Culture.
• Be a team player. Work as a member of the team to help the team achieve its goals.
• Maintain a high level of integrity.
• Provide required information to customers as they enter the store, or during a phone call. Offer friendly and enthusiastic answers to customer questions, test drives, posting vehicles for sale, answer any questions professionally during all phone calls.
• Follow loss prevention, risk control, quality assurance, and proper cash handling procedures always.
• Work as a team towards housekeeping, janitorial, and other duties as assigned by the task list. This can include cleaning tires, loading the tire rack, carrying batteries, changing vehicle batteries, mopping floors, cleaning the offices, restrooms, spraying off vehicles and preparation of putting them on the car lot for sale, etc.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Identify when customer interaction requires assistance from management.
• Complete sales training and follow the B.Y.O.T. Auto Parts Sales Model. Engage in continuous training and education in all areas of the B.Y.O.T. Auto Parts business.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Be proficient in automotive part/product identification and recognize parts and how they relate to our customer's needs.
• Must work safely at all times.
• Must have good people skills with an outgoing friendly positive attitude.
• Able to work retail hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Must have reliable means of transportation.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak in the English language.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus but not required.
• Follow company dress code policy, maintaining a well-groomed, neat appearance so as to create a favorable impression with customers.
• Previous experience in a retail environment preferred but not required.
