Job summary

LKQ Corporation is hiring in Portland, OR for a customer service‑oriented role. You will greet walk‑in customers, assist at checkout with upselling, and help maintain accurate cash drawers and records.

The position requires attention to inventory levels and showroom presentation, with opportunities to coordinate warehouse orders for timely fulfillment. The ideal candidate has 1 year of experience and a strong customer service background; preferred are a High School Diploma/GED and automotive

Qualifications

1 year of experience required.
Strong customer service background.
Prior automotive experience preferred.
Two to three years in customer service relations.

Responsibilities

Greet customers personally as they enter and maintain friendly contact throughout their shopping experience.
At checkout, implement suggestive selling techniques and assist with problem‑solving.
Maintain orderly files and accurate cash drawer for all transactions.
Observe changes in inventory to ensure minimum stock levels and showroom appearance are appropriate.
Coordinate orders from the warehouse to ensure customers’ orders are ready in a timely fashion.
Assume other duties as assigned.
