Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Driver to pick, stage and deliver parts to pro customers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs. You will also handle the daily collection of credit accounts and assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase the average transaction value.

This role requires a valid driver's license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work days, evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Able to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.
• Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
