Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers and handle returns. You will promote current sales and loyalty programs, assist in upselling, and maintain store cleanliness and stock levels.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, strong customer service, and the ability to work days, evenings and weekends. Applicants should be comfortable using the delivery board system and possess retail and automotive knowledge to identify customer needs

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.
• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends.
• Strong customer service and sales mentality.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
