Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage, and safely deliver parts to professional customers. You will also pick up returns, distribute flyers, collect credit payments, and build strong relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while promoting loyalty programs.

The role emphasizes upselling, inventory knowledge, and maintaining a clean store environment. A valid driver’s license and reliable driving record are required. Multiday availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Read and interpret safety rules, manuals and parts catalogs.
• Use basic math accurately for transactions and measurements.
• Confidence in engaging customers and promoting products.
• Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers; provide CPP insights from deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
