Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver automotive parts to professional customers and pro accounts. You will also handle returns, assist with upselling, and promote current sales and loyalty programs.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with inventory systems. Daily driving, customer interaction, and teamwork are essential in this on-site position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus) is helpful.
• Automotive parts experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP with insights learned during deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned
