You will oversee the parts sales process, communicate with staff and customers, check catalogs, provide quotes, manage stock, and process payments while maintaining accuracy and courtesy. A high school diploma and auto parts experience are preferred; drivers license required.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent and auto parts sales experience preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and time-management skills.
• Ability to read/interpret safety and maintenance documents.
• Ability to calculate discounts, taxes, and other figures.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Aufgaben

• Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
• Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Converse effectively about customer parts status.
• Read and understand the parts catalog when looking up parts.
• Answer phone calls, provide price quotes and information.
• Review shop estimates to verify parts and pricing.
• Provide high-level service to both internal and external customers.
• Pull and fill orders from stock and maintain weekly stock checks.
• Notify parts manager of out-of-stock parts or materials needing attention.
• Locate out-of-stock parts from outside source.
• Ensure internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.
• Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization.
