Job summary

Janzen Toyota in Stillwater, OK is seeking a motivated teammate to work alongside an experienced parts counter specialist. You will learn the basics of selling, receiving, and delivering accessories, parts and tires, while delivering in-store customer service and supporting department organization.

This full-time role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, read instructions, use the parts department computer system, and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Learn basics of selling, receiving, and delivery of accessories, parts and tires.
• Perform in-store customer service, organize promotions, and stocking duties.
• Receive shipments and verify orders and quantities.
• Pick parts for counter salesmen.
• Maintain receiving and shipping records.
• Break out and organize shipments, ready for stocking.
• Assist in putting up stock and maintenance of bins and equipment.
• Arrange department and movement of bins as needed.
• Supervise returned parts and maintain storage area.
• Keep bins, aisles and storage areas clean and labeled.
• Lift and handle tires up to 50 lbs daily.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

Works with an experienced parts counter specialist to learn and understand the basics of selling, receiving, and delivery of accessories, parts and tires. In addition, performs in-store customer service, overall organizational promotion, and stocking duties.

• Receive shipments and verify both the order and the quantities
• Pick parts for counter salesmen
• Maintain receiving and shipping records
• Break out and organize shipments, ready for stocking
• Assist in putting up stock
• Assist in maintenance of bins and equipment
• Assist in arrangement of department, including movement of bins as needed
• Supervise returned parts and maintain separate storage area for such parts
• Keep all bins, aisles and storage areas clean and clearly labeled
• Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company's Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers
• Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
• Lifting & Handling Tires on a daily basis
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs

• Ability to kneel, bend, and/or reach above the shoulders
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
