Job summary

Caliber Collision is seeking an Auto Painter Helper at our Palo Alto service center. You will efficiently prepare vehicles for painting, support the Auto Painter, and help maintain a clean, safe workspace in a fast-paced shop environment.

The role emphasizes grinding, sanding, buffing, and thorough vehicle preparation using state-of-the-art equipment per Caliber and OEM standards. This entry-level position offers growth through training and hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for Caliber’s insurance policy.
• Nice to have: previous collision experience and/or Collision Vo-Tech certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for painting in cooperation with Auto Painter.
• Perform sanding and buffing as needed.
• Maintain paint booth and workspace for safety and efficiency.
• Assist Auto Painter to ensure efficient workflow and quality results.
