Job summary

Caliber Collision is hiring an Auto Painter Helper in Smithfield, NC to assist in preparing vehicles for painting and maintaining the paint booth. You’ll sand and buff, help with workflow, and ensure work aligns with Caliber and OEM standards using modern equipment.

Earn $16–$20 per hour with weekly pay and overtime eligibility. Benefits from day one include medical, dental, and vision; paid vacation; and opportunities for I-CAR and ASE training.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in paint operations in a collision center.
• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Nice to have: collision experience or Vo-Tech certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for painting in collaboration with the painter.
• Sand, buff, and maintain the paint booth and workspace.
• Repair vehicles safely and in accordance with standards.
