Qualifications

• Previous automotive body technician or refinisher experience preferred.
• Strong experience with clearcoat repair and paint finishing.
• Knowledge of sanding, buffing, polishing, blending and paint correction techniques.
• Ability to identify paint and clearcoat defects.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to safely operate automotive refinishing tools and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Inspect painted surfaces for defects and imperfections.
• Perform clearcoat repairs, paint correction, wet sanding, buffing, polishing, and finishing.
• Prepare surfaces for refinishing by cleaning, sanding, and masking.
• Match and blend paint finishes for consistency.
• Maintain proper film thickness and finish quality per specs.
• Perform final quality inspections.
• Communicate quality concerns and repair needs to supervisor.
