Crash Champions in Michigan seeks a skilled Refinish technician to perform all aspects of automotive paint refinish, color matching, and quality control on the paint line.

Qualifications

• Certifications in paint procedures required.
• I-CAR certifications required or preferred.
• Prior refinish experience in collision repair.
• Ability to receive and give direction to the team.
• Reliable work history with pass of background check.

Responsibilities

• Performs all refinish work according to specs.
• Match colors of paint following color charts.
• Communicate vehicles stage in paint process.
• Monitor painting operations for flaws and correct causes.
• Mix paints to match specifications and apply topcoat per OEM standards.
• Apply logos or designs to painted surfaces as required.
• Verify paint consistency and quality.
• Layout graphics per blueprint specs using stencils or patterns.
