Job summary

Replacement Parts, Inc. is hiring a Paint Counter Salesperson at our Jackson, MS location.

The role focuses on over-the-counter sales of automotive paint, paints supplies, and related accessories, taking orders in person and by phone to support store operations. The candidate should have a High School Diploma or GED and 1+ year of automotive parts experience, with strong customer service and basic computer skills to process orders and manage inventory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of professional automotive parts experience or 2 years of hobbyist experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals; perform routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide over-the-counter direct sales to customers, in-person and by phone.
• Process paint formulas and mix paint; assist customers with parts and paint selection.
• Handle cash/credit transactions and correctly invoice/credit accounts.
• Research stock numbers, inventory status, and pricing via computer and catalogs.
• Maintain store appearance and assist in inventory as needed.
