Job summary

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment is seeking a dedicated maintenance ambassador to repair and maintain a range of company vehicles and equipment including cars, trucks, vans, buses, trams, and utility vehicles. You will diagnose, repair pneumatic/hydraulic systems, operate lifts and forklifts, and safely drive the park’s sweeper truck.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year of related experience or vocational training, and ASE brakes certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of related automotive experience or vocational training.
• ASE certification in brakes preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain company driver’s license and pass DOT physical.
• Ability to train and pass SeaWorld forklift and high reach certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand for entire shift.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and push/pull 100 lbs alone; push 1,000 pounds with assistance.
• Comfortable with heights, water, and varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of company vehicles and equipment including cars, trucks, vans, buses, trams, golf carts, and utility vehicles.
• Drive the sweeper truck and operate parking lot sweeping equipment.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems; operate lifts, high reach equipment, and forklifts.
• Complete all required documentation.
• Assist guests and team members with minor automotive issues (flat tires, jump starts).
• Coordinate with vendors to receive parts and supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
