Job summary

GTG Training is recruiting an Apprentice Mechanic for an independent garage in Fauldhouse. The Modern Apprenticeship Programme lets you work full time and earn while you learn, with week block release at the training centre and regular workplace assessments to ensure you gain the required skills to complete the apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• National 4+ in English, Maths and either a Science or Technical Subject.
• Candidates should be dedicated and proactive with a willingness to learn.
• Able to prioritise tasks and work to timelines.

Responsibilities

• Learn all aspects of vehicle repair and maintenance in a garage workshop.
• Participate in servicing, MOT preparation, removal and overhaul of major components and electrical fault diagnostics.
• Regular assessments and reviews with GTG mentors throughout the 3-year apprenticeship.
