Job summary

Neal Tire & Auto Service in Indiana is seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic to diagnose and repair vehicles, perform tire services, and deliver outstanding customer care. This is a full-time, in-person role at our Greencastle location.

You will work with a team to service engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes, and more, while upholding safety and quality standards. ASE certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; ASE certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record; pre-employment checks required.
• Experience with diagnostic equipment and automotive repair procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostics and inspections on customer vehicles.
• Complete basic automotive services like mounting and balancing tires, tire repairs, oil changes, filters, replacements, and more.
• Perform tire maintenance and tire changes on customer vehicles.
• Provide superior customer service, including clear communication and feedback about customer vehicles.
• Maintain an organized and safe work environment.

Weekly Day Range: Monday to Friday w/ Weekend Availability as Needed

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostics and inspections on customer vehicles

Basic Qualifications:

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours per day
