Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Altoona, PA is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician to join a supportive team servicing vehicles. You will learn to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems and perform routine maintenance.

Full- and part-time benefits start from day one; pay-range is posted and includes tool program discounts. This role offers hands-on training and opportunities to grow within a nationwide tire and auto-care network.

Qualifications

• Learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
