Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is part of Bridgestone Americas and operates over 2,200 company-owned stores. The Maintenance Technician role is entry level, offering full-time and part-time benefits from day one, with a pay range of $12.54 to $18.81 per hour.

This position supports vehicle service and maintenance in Firestone Complete Auto Care locations. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing basic automotive systems, performing routine maintenance, tire care, and road testing.

Qualifications

• Learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver’s license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
