Job summary

At Manheim, a Cox Automotive company, we are hiring an Auto Maintenance Tech I to perform essential repairs and routine maintenance across various vehicles. Earn competitive hourly pay and a sign-on bonus while joining a hands-on, safety-conscious team.

You will perform light-duty maintenance, diagnose vehicle issues, and support with parts sourcing and upfitting new vehicles. This is an on-site, daytime role with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• The ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform light-duty auto maintenance and routine inspections.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including brakes, steering and electrical.
• Replace parts such as tires, batteries and filters as needed.
• Test and replace components and fluids; operate shop equipment safely.
• Source parts via approved vendors and assist with upfitting new vehicles.

We’re hiring an Auto Maintenance Tech I to perform essential repairs and maintenance across a variety of vehicles. What You’ll Do

You’ll perform light-duty work as an intermediate-level auto technician in a supportive team environment.

• Complete routine auto maintenance, including oil and filter changes, fuel filter replacements, transmission flushes, spark plug replacements and vehicle inspections.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems, including brake, steering, suspension systems, starting and charging electrical/AC systems (including evacuation and recharge).
• Perform a variety of mechanical and component repairs, including tires, rear main seals, timing covers, radiators and interior/exterior components.
• Test, maintain and replace key components, including batteries and related electrical systems.
• Complete routine maintenance on shop equipment.
• Utilize approved vendors to source and obtain parts.
• Assist with upfitting new vehicles with required equipment.
• Comply with applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations, including proper handling of recyclables, fluids, tires and waste.
