At Cox Automotive, we are hiring an Auto Maintenance Tech I to perform essential repairs and maintenance across a variety of vehicles. You will work in a day shift at a Cox location, contributing to reliable vehicle performance.

The role requires up to 2 years of related experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to service standard, automatic and electric vehicles. ASE certifications are preferred and high school graduation is expected.

Qualifications

• The ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine auto maintenance, including oil and filter changes, fuel filter replacements, transmission flushes, spark plug replacements and vehicle inspections.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems, including brake, steering, suspension, starting and charging electrical/AC systems (including evacuation and recharge).
• Perform a variety of mechanical and component repairs, including tires, rear main seals, timing covers, radiators and interior/exterior components.
• Test, maintain and replace key components, including batteries and related electrical systems.
• Complete routine maintenance on shop equipment.
• Utilize approved vendors to source and obtain parts.
• Assist with upfitting new vehicles with required equipment.
• Comply with applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations, including proper handling of recyclables, fluids, tires and waste.

Hourly base pay rate is $20.10 - $30.10/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Benefits
