Manheim, a Cox Automotive company, is seeking an Auto Maintenance Tech I to perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles. You’ll gain hands-on experience and contribute to keeping our fleet safe and reliable. A sign-on bonus is available along with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ years related work experience.
• Must be able to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• ASE Certifications G1, A4, A5 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gain familiarity with auto maintenance concepts and practices.
• Perform auto maintenance tasks including oil and filter changes, fuel filter changes, transmission flush, spark plugs, and vehicle inspections.
• Test, maintain, and replace batteries; inspect starting and charging electrical systems.
• Perform repairs including tires, safety inspections, and interior/exterior components.
• Diagnose and repair brake, steering, and suspension systems.
• Evacuate and recharge AC systems.
• Perform equipment maintenance.
• Use approved vendors to obtain parts.
• May up-fit new vehicles with necessary equipment.
• Comply with procedures and regulations regarding recyclables, fluids, tires, and waste.
