Job summary

Avis Budget Group International is hiring an entry-level Automotive Technician to service our fleet in Amarillo, TX. You’ll perform preventive maintenance like oil changes, fluid services, tire changes, and basic repairs, with safety procedures and quality standards guiding every task.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, comfortable in a mechanical shop, and able to lift up to 50 pounds. On-the-job training is provided, with opportunities toward ASE certification and growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• 6 months auto maintenance experience or completion of automotive tech school is a bonus.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a mechanical shop with moderate to loud noise.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on our fleet of vehicles, including oil changes, fluid services, tire changes, tire rotations, and basic repairs.
• Follow safety procedures and quality standards; assist senior technicians as experience grows.
