Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Midland, Texas is hiring immediately for an automotive technician role. You will perform preventive maintenance on our fleet, including oil changes, fluid services, tire changes and rotations, and basic repairs, following safety standards.

You will work on newer vehicles across multiple brands, gaining exposure to different systems and technologies, ensuring vehicles are safe and ready for customers. On-site, with opportunities toward ASE certification and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude or prior automotive maintenance experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• 18 years of age or older and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• On-site position; no remote work.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance: oil changes, fluid services, tire changes and rotations, and basic repairs.
• Assist senior technicians and grow maintenance skills over time.
• Work on a diverse fleet across multiple brands to maintain vehicle reliability.
