Job summary

Serramonte Subaru is seeking an Automotive Service Assistant / Vehicle Porter to keep our new and used vehicle inventory organized, stocked, and ready for customers. This role offers a competitive benefits package and growth opportunities within a fast-paced dealership environment.

Ideal candidates may have prior automotive porter experience, but it is not required. A valid driver's license and a safe driving record are necessary to join a team that values professionalism and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license or be able to obtain one.
• Dependable, punctual and detail oriented.
• Ability to work outdoors and in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Move and park new and used vehicles safely throughout the dealership lot.
• Organize, stock, and maintain vehicle inventory in designated parking areas.
• Assist with vehicle receiving, inventory positioning, and lot organization.
• Ensure vehicles are parked in the correct locations and are easily accessible.
• Assist the sales and service departments with vehicle movement as needed.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional dealership environment.
• Follow all dealership safety procedures and vehicle-handling guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support daily dealership operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Previous automotive dealership or porter experience is a plus but not required .
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles, if required.
• Dependable, punctual, and detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working outdoors and in a fast-paced environment.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be currently residing in the United States and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
• Pre-employment background check, motor vehicle record (MVR) check, and drug screening are required.
