Job summary

Safelite Group in the United States is offering a Technician Trainee program designed to train you as an auto glass technician. You’ll learn hands-on and in‑class, earn the Safelite SafeTech certification, and build fundamental skills for glass repair, replacement and recalibrations.

You’ll be paid to learn with starting wages at $22.25/hour, rising to $29.50/hour after training and certification. The program includes tuition reimbursement, health benefits, 401(k), PTO and paid training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license required to operate company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems and troubleshoot.
• Provide additional services and products as needed.
• Study and pass tests to become Safelite-certified Technician.
