Job summary

Glass America WA Seattle Downtown - 300047 is hiring Auto Glass Technicians to replace windshields and glass in vehicles, in-shop or on a mobile basis. You will use proper tools, complete paperwork, and uphold safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include installation, repairs if needed, load and transport glass, and maintaining equipment. A valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required; 4–6 years of related experience preferred. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 4-6 years of related work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Installs auto glass and other auto glass products in-shop or on a mobile basis.
• Utilizes proper tools and techniques to ensure efficient, timely, and quality installation service.
• Ensures required paperwork is completed and turned in to the appropriate person or location.
• Maintains a safe and acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy.
• May perform auto glass repairs as needed.
• Load glass in the truck as needed.
• Follow up with the Glass Manager on installation issues.
• Maintain high levels of quality control.
• Provide excellence in customer service.
• Ensure all needed equipment is operating properly.
• Report any accident/incident to the Glass Manager.
• Comply with company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook.
• Maintain a good rapport with all supervisors and co-workers.
